A neat system designed to handle both water vapour and orthodichlorobenzene, (ODCB), vapours at different times in the batch cycle.
ODCB has an SG of 1.33, so any water will rise to the top of the buffer tank, and be taken away via a 'U' leg seal to be processed.
The ODCB is passed to the second compartment in the tank, via the interface adjuster, set on site to give a clear seperation of the two immiscible liquids in the buffer tank.
Coolant to the ring seal liquid cooler is standard cooling tower water.
The liquid ring vacuum pump is fitted with double mechanical seals with a buffer liquid between.
